ON CAMPUS FINAL AUDITION CRITERIA:
- B.F.A. Musical Theatre – you will perform two contrasting 16-32 bar cuts (please bring marked sheet music as we will have an accompanist) and a 1 minute monologue, not to exceed 3 minutes total. Your pieces may or may not be the same material as those in your pre-screen audition.
At all on campus final auditions, be prepared to take part in workshops that will cover dance, voice, and acting work. Bring appropriate clothing for these workshops including ballet shoes and jazz or character shoes.
Please bring a theatrical resume, and an 8×10 headshot.
- B.F.A. Acting – you will perform two contrasting monologues. The two selections must not exceed 3 minutes total and must be from published plays. Your pieces may or may not be the same material as those in your pre-screen audition.
At all on campus final auditions be prepared to take part in a movement, voice for the actor, and acting workshop. Bring appropriate clothing to change into that allows for freedom of movement.
Please bring a theatrical resume, and an 8×10 headshot.
- B.F.A. Physical Theatre – you will perform two pieces, one monologue and one piece of your choice that highlights your physical ability. The second piece may be a devised piece. The two pieces must not exceed 3 minutes total. Your pieces may or may not be the same material as those in your prescreen audition.
At all on campus final auditions be prepared to take part in a movement, voice for the actor, and acting workshop. Please bring appropriate clothing to change into that allows for freedom of movement.
